It was set up by Mr. Wu Yukai which is doctor of Industrial and Commercial management major, gainer of state 4th Town Enterprisers, member of Tianjin Political Consultative Conference, representative of People's Congress in Tanggu District. In the year of 2001, Kaiwei Chemical was entitled as Tianjin Excellent Enterprise.
